Recent internal data records about $3 billion in land and other rural acreage for sale in the Cowboy State. This constitutes a total of 855,679 acres of land for sale in Wyoming. Of the 23 counties in Wyoming, Lincoln County had the most land and acreage for sale. There were 7,553 acres of sold land in Wyoming recorded last month through the Lands of America sales program. This reflects a drop in sales activity over data from the month before. The total value of this sold land and rural real estate was $6 million. The most land sales in the state last month were located in Fremont County. In its entirety, 97,093 square miles of the state is land, while the remaining 720 square miles is made up of water.
