Lands of America recently had $790 million in land for sale for sale in the Cowboy State. This represents 739,678 acres of Wyoming land for sale (accounting for around one percent of the state's land area). The most expensive land listed for sale on Lands of America recently was $30 million, though the median price for land, homesites and other rural acreage for sale in Wyoming came in at $515,750. The average price of farms, ranches and other land for sale in Wyoming was $2 million. There was 6,349 acres of sold land in Wyoming recorded last month through the Lands of America sales program. This reflects an increase in sales activity over data from April 2018. The total value of this sold land and rural real estate was $2.6 million. Wyoming is one of the country's ten largest states in terms of size, covering an area of 97,818 square miles (63 million acres). Of its total landmass, 97,093 square miles (99 percent) covers land area, while the remaining 720 square miles comprises water.
