The fields on the western side of the ranch along Inyan Kara Creek have historically been irrigated with side roll systems. There are also dryland fields on the property. The Arch Creek drainage runs through the western portion of the deeded land. On the hills overlooking the creek there is evidence of tepee rings, also petrified wood has been found on the property. Several old homesteads on the property silently whisper tales of days gone by.
Area wildlife includes elk, whitetail deer, mule deer, antelope, turkey, mountain lion, bobcat, coyote, fox, eagles and hawks. There is an abundant population of deer and the elk herd in the area has been growing in recent years. Brown trout and rainbow trout were stocked in Inyan Kara Creek a few years ago.
The ranch has two sets of improvements. The southern headquarters includes a three bedroom log home, two-car garage with trophy room overhead and a top quality 40x80 horse barn that features lean-tos on each side, 4 inside stalls, wash bay, tack room, indoor training area, hay storage in the loft and outside pens for horses.
