The Bar Cross Ranch is conveniently located 12 miles northwest of the county seat of Pinedale, Wyoming on Highway 352 and one hour southeast of Jackson Hole with paved road access. This charming western town is supported by local industries such as ranching, recreation, tourism, oil & gas, logging, and government. The Sublette County Airport (Wenz Field) is located approximately 17 miles from the ranch and can handle most private jets. Commercial service is available one hour away in Jackson Hole, which is serviced by Delta, United, American, and Northwest. Rock Springs, Wyoming, is located 1 ½ hours from Bar Cross and offers commercial service by Great Lakes Aviation, connecting through Denver.



The Census Bureau data shows that Sublette County was the 5th fastest growing county among the more than 3,000 counties in the nation between 2006 and 2007. The county was also the second fastest growing county west of the Mississippi River, and the fastest growing county with a population under 19,000. Sublette County’s population grew by 9.4% between 2006 and 2007, according to new estimates released by the U.S. Census Bureau. The bureau now estimates Sublette County’s population to be 7,925 permanent residents as of July of 2007, up 684 residents from July of 2006.



Consisting of 12,045 deeded acres, this spectacular Wyoming ranch has approximately 1,700 acres of irrigated land, a 40-acre private lake, three ponds, 3 miles of the famous New Fork River, 7 miles of Willow Creek, and scenic frontage on Willow Lake. This sporting property is home to many Pronghorn antelope and Mule deer (qualifies for landowner licenses for both species), as well as moose, elk, coyotes, Red fox, badgers, rabbits, eagles, hawks, osprey, Sage grouse, and other small game and songbirds. Waterfowl are plentiful on the lakes and streams with Canada geese and several species of ducks residing on the ranch.
